First World Problems Anthem

The Gift of Water produced this film for their new ad campaign.  I was introduced to the term "first world problems" after I had called the issue of having to pump gas in sub-zero temperatures an "uptown problem."  I don't love the term "first world" and "third world."  It could be due to the fact that I was required to take a cultural competency class in my Masters run by the PC nazi, but it could also be that to me, it feels like a value judgement.  I like the idea of developing countries and that we all reside on the same continuum. 

In the meantime, the next time you feel like complaining that the nearest Starbucks is in Guatemala City, watch this video.  It feels like a needed kick in the face.
